CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR FIRST ABODE

Congratulations on your first abode!
Our love and hope and joy go out to you!
No home is home without a fitting ode,
Giving old-time grace to nestings new.
Regarding happiness: the choice is yours,
As life is neither time nor place, but soul.
There is no simple recipe for cause;
Ultimately, all is rendered whole.
Live, then, in love, and prosper as you will,
And make this first abode a proper home,
The calling that will call for all your skill
In being more than two free souls alone.
Out of what you will comes what you are,
Not momently, but out beyond the bar,
Singing like the wind that carves the stone.
